A Family Story Rooted in Craft and Place
Located in the village of Perivoli in Corfu, these two homes have been part of our family for generations. One, now known as Maragos House, reflects a long history of craftsmanship, shaped by ancestors who were carpenters and builders in the village. The other, The Upper House, was added in the late 1970s and holds our own memories of growing up here.
Both houses have been carefully renovated with the intention of preserving their original character while bringing them into the present. We approached the process with respect for their history, the surrounding area, and the quiet continuity between past and present.
Together, they offer a more personal way to experience Corfu, not as visitors passing through, but as part of the rhythm of village life.

“Simple, rustic and beautifully decorated outside and in. Situated in a small Corfiot village, close to both coasts. It is rural and laidback. The locals are very friendly and there are lots of cats and birds to watch from the balcony. In the day, a dude drives past the house, selling freshly caught fish that are amazing value for money. While walking through the village, we met a local dog (the one in the photograph) who accompanied us on a stroll to a local cafe. He/She is lovely and an excellent tour guide. The owners were very helpful with any problems or queries we had. I loved this place.
